Beginning flute students successfully learn the basics of the instrument in order to best participate in a school band program. Advanced beginners receive an additional method book, musical repertoire and supplementary studies to support participation in band and Region Middle School Programs. Intermediate students develop higher level skills with new repertoire and studies to support participation in school band and marching band, as well as participation in High School Regional band and orchestra programs, all-state programs, and youth orchestra programs. Advanced students are supported to prepare for college scholarship auditions, recitals, and community band or orchestra programs by developing tone and technique, and learning repertoire. Many adult students wish to get back to playing flute after many years.

All students are supported to achieve their musical goals at all ages and levels.
