Flute Lessons - Mary Larson, Flutist

Mary Larson is a versatile free-lance flutist experienced working with orchestra, chamber ensemble, musical theater, and in recital. Professional performances include venues such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Symphony Space, Miller Theater, and Columbia’s Rabi-Warner Recital Series in NYC. Mary has performed as principal flute, second flute, and piccolo with many orchestras including the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, NYC; Augusta Opera, GA; School of American Ballet Theater, NYC; Wild Acres Music Festival, PA; Bronx Chamber Orchestra; Bronx Opera; Lyric Opera-NYC; Ten Ten Players Chamber Opera, NYC; Contemporary Music Ensemble, NYC.  Performances include the 1214 Foundation production of Liberty Smith in Newtown, CT; and Trinity Chamber Series, Newtown, CT.  She can be heard on recordings with Newport Classics, Koch, and BIS labels, as well as Kjos Band Recordings.
